Joao Quevedo, MD, is affiliated with the Center for Interventional Psychiatry at the Faillace Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, McGovern Medical School, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Between 2016 and 2026, Quevedo has published research on treatment-resistant major depression, including the impact of vagus nerve stimulation on suicidal ideation, as well as the development of consultation programs for treatment-resistant depression.
