Arieh Y. Shalev, MD, has published extensively on posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and major depressive disorder (MDD) between 2000 and 2017. His work includes clinical trials on early pharmacological interventions for PTSD, studies on risk factors and long-term outcomes following trauma exposure, and investigations into the psychopathology of PTSD using twin studies. Shalev has also contributed to consensus statements on PTSD and explored treatment augmentation strategies and outcome measurements in this field. His frequent collaborators include Alexander C. McFarlane, David J. Nutt, Ehud Klein, James C. Ballenger, and Jonathan R. T. Davidson.
