Gisela Sugranyes, MD, PhD, is affiliated with the Centro de Investigación biomédica en Red de Salud Mental (CIBERSAM), ISCIII, and the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychology Department at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, as well as IDIBAPS in Barcelona, Spain. Her publications from 2009 to 2023 focus on child and adolescent psychiatry, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders. Her research topics include obsessive-compulsive spectrum symptoms in youth at psychosis risk, shared psychotic disorder induced by a child, and neurocognitive dysfunctions in euthymic bipolar patients with and without prior alcohol use. She has frequently collaborated with co-authors such as Daniel Ilzarbe, Inmaculada Baeza, Adriana Fortea, Ana Gonzalez-Pinto, and Anabel Martínez-Arán.
