Katharine A. Phillips, MD, affiliated with New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical College as well as Rhode Island Hospital and Alpert Medical School of Brown University, has published extensively on obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, particularly body dysmorphic disorder. Her work includes studies on pharmacotherapy effectiveness, suicidal ideation, substance use comorbidities, and comparisons with obsessive-compulsive disorder. She has also contributed to research on psychopharmacology and electronic medical record prescribing warnings. Phillips has authored ten articles between 1997 and 2019 in peer-reviewed psychiatric journals.
