About
Merete Nordentoft, DrMedSc, is affiliated with The Lundbeck Foundation Initiative for Integrative Psychiatric Research (iPSYCH) and CORE at the Mental Health Center Copenhagen, Copenhagen University Hospital. With publications spanning from 2006 to 2022, Nordentoft has contributed extensively to research on suicide, schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, child and adolescent psychiatry, mood disorders, neurodevelopmental conditions, and general psychiatry. The work includes studies on early-life injuries related to ADHD, internet-based therapies for suicidal ideation, treatment-resistant depression, suicide risk and prevention, psychosis outcomes, and the effects of exercise in depression.
