Paola Rucci, PhD, has contributed extensively to research on bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, psychotherapy, schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders, and suicide. Her publications include studies on treatment approaches for bipolar II depression, the differentiation of unipolar and bipolar disorders through psychomotor activation, and the impact of psychiatric comorbidities on quality of life and functional impairment. Rucci's work also addresses suicide attempts and ideation in bipolar I disorder and psychiatric comorbidity in psychotic disorders.
