Ronna Fried, PhD, has published extensively on neurodevelopmental disorders, bipolar disorder, and child and adolescent psychiatry from 2006 to 2016. Her research includes studies on smoking and substance use disorders in youth with bipolar disorder and comorbid conduct disorder, cognitive development and neuropsychological functioning in adults with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and the effects of psychopharmacologic treatment in bipolar youth. Fried has also investigated educational and occupational outcomes and impaired driving in adults with ADHD. Frequent collaborators include Joseph Biederman, Carter R. Petty, and Stephen V. Faraone.
