Sara Poletti, PhD, has published research focused on depression, particularly major depressive disorder and bipolar depression, as well as suicide. Her work includes studies on proinflammatory cytokines as markers of antidepressant response and the rapid treatment of suicidal symptoms using chronotherapeutic methods such as lithium, sleep deprivation, and light therapy.
