Shane J. McInerney, MD, MB, MSc, MRCPsych, has published research focused on the cognitive effects of antidepressants and other therapeutic agents in major depressive disorder (MDD). The work includes systematic reviews on procognitive effects of antidepressants and modafinil in MDD, as well as evaluations of antidepressant use in bipolar depression.
