Silvana Grandi, MD, has published extensively on the psychological aspects of medical illness, focusing on depression, anxiety, cognition, and phobic disorders. Her work includes studies on demoralization in heart transplantation, anxiety disorders in medically ill patients, and cognitive-behavioral approaches to treatment-resistant major depressive disorder.
