About
Clive G. Ballard, MD, MRCPsych, has published extensively on neuropsychiatric aspects of dementia, including Alzheimer's disease and dementia with Lewy bodies, as well as schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders. His work covers clinical topics such as agitation, psychosis, neuroleptic sensitivity, and antipsychotic treatment effects in dementia and Parkinsonian disorders. Ballard’s research includes randomized controlled trials and longitudinal studies addressing behavioral and psychological symptoms in care settings. He has frequently collaborated with John T. O'Brien, Elaine K. Perry, Ian G. McKeith, Jane Fossey, and Katharina Reichelt.
