Margaret T. Susce, RN, MLT, has contributed to research on addiction, genetics, and weight-related issues in patients with severe mental illnesses. Her work includes studies on factors influencing cessation of alcohol, drug, and smoking habits, the prevalence of obesity and related complications, and the genetic phenotype CYP2D6's association with risperidone adverse reactions and discontinuation. Susce's publications appeared in Psychiatrist.com in 2005, often collaborating with Jose de Leon and colleagues.
