About
María Elena Medina-Mora, PhD, has published research focused on phobic disorders and suicide. Her work includes longitudinal studies on the persistence of specific phobia from adolescence to early adulthood and epidemiological analyses of fears and specific phobia in adolescence. She has also contributed to investigations of the prevalence and risk factors for suicide attempts using data from the World Health Organization World Mental Health Surveys.
