Sonja Zehetmayer, PhD, has published research in the areas of depression, dementia, and neurology. Her work includes studies on specific depressive symptoms as predictors of Alzheimer's dementia, late-onset depression in elderly populations, and genetic associations with depression among nondemented older adults. She has contributed to the Vienna Transdanube Aging (VITA) Study and frequently collaborated with Karl-Heinz Tragl, Peter Fischer, Susanne Jungwirth, Michael Rainer, and Nilufar Mossaheb. Her articles appeared in Psychiatrist.com between 2006 and 2012.
