Susanne Jungwirth, PhD, has authored research focusing on depression, dementia, and neurology, with particular attention to late-onset depression and its relation to Alzheimer's dementia. Her work includes studies on symptom prediction in major depressive disorder and genetic associations in elderly populations from the Vienna Transdanube Aging (VITA) Study.
